About Always Starting

Always Starting began as a place to document my constant restarts. Today, it is about something deeper: intentionally creating what comes next.

For years, starting again meant resilience. It meant getting back up, changing direction, trying again, and refusing to accept that where I was had to be where I stayed.

I still believe in that.

But I’ve reached a point in my life where I don’t want the next chapter to simply happen to me. I want to choose it.

I want to be more intentional about how I spend my time, what I define as success, what I make room for, what I let go of, and who I am becoming.

That is what Always Starting is about now.

What I Write About

I write about reinvention, work and ambition, identity, balance, leadership, inner growth, purpose, and the ongoing process of figuring out how to build a life that feels more intentional.

Some posts will be deeply personal. Some will come from what I’m learning through leadership, yoga, philosophy, relationships, habits, and the ordinary moments that make us question what matters.

I’m not writing from the other side of the journey.

I’m writing from inside it.

About Lori

I’m Lori Kiel — an executive, writer, yoga student, wife, mother, grandmother, and lifelong starter.

I’ve spent much of my career building teams, businesses, and strategies around growth and performance. These days, I’m just as interested in a different kind of growth: becoming more intentional about how I live, what I value, and what I want the next chapter to look like.

Then end with:

Welcome to Always Starting.

Here’s to creating the next chapter — on purpose, with purpose.
